Who doesn’t love an old-fashioned no-bake cookie? ❤️
These classic chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cookies are rich, chewy, and full of homemade goodness! With just a handful of simple ingredients and no oven required, they’re perfect for a quick sweet treat.
Whether you’re making them for family gatherings, an afternoon snack, or just because you’re craving something chocolatey, these timeless favorites are always a hit!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
🍪 Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, butter, and milk.
- Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Once boiling, cook for exactly 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
- Add oats and stir until completely combined.
- Drop spoonfuls onto parchment or wax paper. Allow cookies to cool and set for approximately 30 minutes.
Little Down Home Tip:
For the best texture, start timing once the mixture reaches a full rolling boil. Boiling too long can make your cookies dry, while not boiling long enough can keep them from setting properly.
